The plums

[The joy]

That were in

The icebox

[Your life]

And which you were probably

Saving

[Needed]

For breakfast

[Every day]

Forgive me

[Pardon me]

They were delicious

[It was necessary]

So sweet

[So good]

And so cold

[And so happy]
