Poem: Nature is But My Parent

I love the wind,

And the wind loves me.

I adore the clouds,

And the clouds adore me.

I am pleased by the rain,

And the rain is pleased by me.

I enjoy the grassy earth,

And the grassy earth enjoys me.

I am fascinated by the sea,

And the sea is fascinated by me.

I am weary of the sun,

And the sun is weary of me.

I hate the stars,

And the stars hate me,

Their twin,

Because we abandoned each other at birth.
