My stepsister and I decided to count and photograph all the species of wildflowers on our hike. We are now trying to identify them. We found 36 varieties of small flowering plants within 2.7 miles of each other! Here are just a few of my favorites.

Thanks, Jade! These were taken on the mountainous trails near Floating Island Lake and Cathedral Lake, which are close to the California-Nevada border.
