Where will you end up?

1 comment:
Whether it's to a random library somewhere in the world or a little cat shop in Japan, the Secret Door surely will place you in a place where you never expected to be.
So go ahead, and open the door.

Four little photos

4 comments:

  • School has been hard on me by giving me too much homework.
  • Thus the reason why I haven't been able to post.
  • However, I'll try to post more often.
  • And bullet points are fun.
  • Also, dear 'old' Stacy is turning 16 today (on the 18th of October)
  • But I won't be getting my driver's licence yet because I still don't have my permit.
  • So don't expect me to drive with anyone anywhere yet.
  • However, I'll still be writing stories, poetry, and taking pictures.

A song that I can't get enough lately.

Am I loud and clear, or am I breaking up?
Am I still your charm, or am I just bad luck?
Are we getting closer, or are we just getting more lost?

I'll show you mine if you show me yours first
Let's compare scars, I'll tell you whose is worse
Let's unwrite these pages and replace them with our own words

We live on front porches and swing life away,
We get by just fine here on minimum wage
If love is a labor I'll slave till the end,
I won't cross these streets until you hold my hand

I've been here so long, I think that it's time to move
The winter's so cold, summer's over too soon
Let's pack our bags and settle down where palm trees grow

I've got some friends, some that I hardly know
But we've had some times, I wouldn't trade for the world
We chase these days down with talks of the places that we will go

We live on front porches and swing life away,
We get by just fine here on minimum wage
If love is a labor I'll slave till the end,
I won't cross these streets until you hold my hand....until you hold my hand

I'll show you mine if you show me yours first
Let's compare scars, I'll tell you whose is worse
Let's unwrite these pages and replace them with our own words

We live on front porches and swing life away,
We get by just fine here on minimum wage
If love is a labor I'll slave till the end,
I won't cross these streets until you hold my hand

A poem

1 comment:
This is a poem that I wrote recently when I was feeling a bit bored and empty. I'm feeling better now so there isn't any need to worry. Well here it is~

I feel cast off
From the rest of humanity
As I lie in the ocean
With no one coming to see me
Except those with my same blood
It is then that I feel connected
With humanity again
But it is temporary
Because I will always end up back in the ocean
With no one coming to see me
Except those with my same blood

Bonjour!

As you may have guessed already, my name is Stacy. I'm from Sweets Galore and I'm going to be one of the guest posters for Blog for Joy. I’m a fifteen-year-old blogger, writer, book worm, kind of a photographer, nanoer, Libra, and much more that I can’t think of right now. My favorite T.V show is Doctor Who (maybe you’ve heard of it?), my favorite books include The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, Gone by Michael Grant, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, and more. I like the color green and I have a pet cat and a pet pit bull (that isn’t mean at all.) I should get going, I’ll post more soon, but if you want to try to find me just go to a random high school in the United States and hope it’s the right one.
Salut,
Stacy N.
